PBM International Attends the 2005 ECRM Conference in Miami, FL

MIAMI, FL—PBM International participated in the Personal Care category of ECRM International's Health and Beauty Care conference at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida. From May 16–20, PBM met with retailers outside the United States and Canada to expand our existing customer base.

ECRM is the industry leader in business planning, marketing and event management. The organization links manufacturers and retailers together at Efficient Program Planning Sessions (EPPS) and also provides a wealth of online software to streamline the sales and marketing supply chain. Focusing on technology as a key ingredient, manufacturers and retailers alike recognize the efficiencies of EPPS and the technological expertise ECRM brings to their organizations.

The International Health and Beauty Care sessions are for U.S. Health and Beauty Care manufacturers and international distributors and retail chains. For manufacturers this is an opportunity to expand business outside the United States via guaranteed, one-on-one appointments with decision-makers from nearly 77 distributors/retailers representing 40–50 countries. Meetings, which take place in the manufacturer's private room, focus on gaining commitment for new items, new lines, promotional opportunities, and building relationships with customers.

Pre-approved international distributors and retail chains can find new sources of supply from the U.S. and increase retail sales and profits through existing U.S. suppliers. All attendees gain access to ECRM's International Portal that has hundreds of international buyer contacts and regulatory, tax/tariff and international payment information.
